Retail Security

Retail crimes take place on multiple levels including but not limited to employee theft to Organized Retail Crime (OCR).  According to a report published by the National Retail Federation (NRF), in 2008, the retail industry suffered $36.5 billion dollars in losses from theft.  A.S.A.P has a well-rounded security staff trained in surveillance, investigations, expert court testimony and the laws of arrest and detention but most importantly in theft prevention and retail employee safety. As proud members of the NRF we partner with our clients in developing inventory policy, employee background investigations, anti-theft procedures and progressive workplace violence policies to include plans and training for Active Shooter situations.  

Residential Security

In residential communities all across the United States there is a recurring thought. “We don’t feel safe in our own homes.”  According to the FBI, in 2008 there were 9.7 million property crimes committed in the U.S.  Statistics show that a burglary occurs every 14 seconds. A day doesn’t go by without law-abiding citizens being robbed, raped or murdered in our residential communities. A.S.AP partners with property managers  and residents to prevent crimes from occurring. We are not just another vendor, we are team players. We listen to our clients needs and concerns and together we deliver detailed security solutions to address them.

Construction Security

A.S.A.P prides ourselves on theft prevention and access control on construction projects. Our security managers are expertly trained in construction theft prevention. We meet   regularly with local police officials to share crime trends and suspect information. To ensure every client the highest level of security we pertinent information with all of our clients and employees. As a client you benefit from enhanced security surveillance equipment and tactics, Intense Patrol Standards (IPS), Integrity Supervisory Patrols (ISP), weekly detailed site reports and 24-hour direct contact with ASAP executive management. We also keep up to date on OSHA regulations.

Event Security

With over 65 years of combined experience in managing events as law enforcement officers and security managers, A.S.A.P has carved a niche in the special event security market. We provide protection at the DC Convention Center, on the National Mall, and at Howard University.  These venues host some of the largest events in the DC area.  We efficiently handle events with over 80,000 participants including but not limited to conferences, concerts, sporting events and College Commencements.  We are simply the best at access control, magnetometer operation, traffic control, crowd control, bomb detection, VIP protection, and more.
